Jul 25, 2017 Checked the UConnect website and my VIN now shows that I can download the new update to 18.45.01 for my USA '17 Summit. It was not available a week ago. Downloaded, unzipped to a USB drive stick and the update took about 25 minutes with the vehicle running parked. Jun 23, 2013 I spent 2hrs at my Jeep dealer on Monday and they couldn't help either, the dealers don't even know what is going on with these updates. Luckily I was able to update my Jeep, but with only 4 days remaining before my GPS would have stopped working, they are cutting it way too close. This entire process is a huge black eye for FCA/uConnect. I just use Google maps on my phone which is connected via bluetooth to my 2011 Grand Cherokee. If you download the update, which we did, you cannot use a SanDisk or Lexar usb drive. Up with a 16GB, on sale $4.00 usb drive and it loaded right in.
